How it works
Turn on Tap to Pay in the app
A one-time setup in the TipMe app. The app checks that your phone supports it.
Enter the amount
Type the tip or the price, or pick a preset.
Customer taps
They hold their card, phone or watch to the top of your phone. Done.
Good to know
- Works on iPhone and on Android phones with NFC.
- Send the customer a receipt by email or text, right from the app.
- Tap to Pay is in the mobile app only, not on the website.

Do I need to buy a card reader?
No. Your phone is the reader.
Which phones work?
Recent iPhones, and Android phones with NFC. The app tells you during setup if yours is not supported.
